Apart from education, since we gather exhibitors (producers of wine, cheese, fish, truffles…) and caterers, this is an opportunity to connect them and thus enrich the offer. Through these educations and presentations, we all want to work together to improve enogastronomy”, Said Dantes Begic, the organizer of the event. Begić believes that continuous work should be continued on the development of eno-gastro tourism in Croatia. “Through continuous research and monitoring of the quality of services and offers (Mystery Guest projects), we have established that we lack better quality offers and services. Guided by this, we focused our events on strengthening awareness and working on our knowledge, as well as improving the quality of the offer and service among caterers and tourism workers.”, Added Begic. Eno-gastro tourism is one of the segments of tourism in which we have significant potential and it is important to hold this type of events in order to educate the tourism profession, but also to connect caterers and producers and thus create a quality tourism product. Lecturers who held their presentations and workshops are big names in the world of sommelier – Filip Savić, Mario Meštrović, Jure Andrijašević, special guest from Austria Suvad Zlatić and guest from Slovenia Mira Šemić and culinary trio Hrvoje Zirojević, Braco Sanjin and Ivan Pažanin.
