first_imgRomania cricketer Pavel Florin has become the new talk of the town on social media after videos of the spin bowler went viral on the internet with his unusual bowling action leaving everybody in splits.Florin’s action is so unique that people started sharing videos of his bowling in a European T10 Cricket League match between Dreux Cricket Club and Florin’s team Cluj Cricket Club.Florin’s deliveries ended up being so loopy that batsmen had to wait for an eternity before the ball arrived in their arc.Pavel though, is not at all concerned about what is being written about him on social media or what people think of his bowling action. The online ridicule is something which Florin is least bothered about because of his love for the sport.”Maybe someone says my bowling is not beautiful or not effective, but I don’t care, because I love cricket. It’s not beautiful, I know, everybody says it, but I’m a slow bowler,” Florin was quoted as saying by the European Cricket League.Florin also received support from former cricketers Dmitri Mascarenhas and spin legend Shane Warne, who also offered to help Florin and the tournament.”This is the first born & bred Romanian playing cricket. We should be celebrating this amazing achievement. A lot of hard work by some brilliant people have made this happen. Let’s just watch and celebrate this truly awesome tournament,” Mascarenhas tweeted.”My bowling is not beautiful.
